The original Colt tee is next to the boundary fence and at first glance the hole is a straight forward par 4. Just in front of the green there is a wide grassy cross ditch which means that good club selection and a well placed shot are required to obtain par. 

In the opinion of Peter Alliss the second shot to this green is the most demanding shot on the golf course.
