Hole 7

Standing on the tee you get a magnificent view of the Castle against the backdrop of the hills and woods above Brancepeth Village. This is a most spectacular sight on a summer's evening.

To the left of the 7th fairway over the Page Bank Road are three houses which provided accommodation for Officers and are all that remains of the army camp that was situated there up until the mid 1960's. The site has been open cast mined for coal and restored as agricultural land. Always a satisfying par 4.
