BRANCEPETH CASTLE GOLF CLUB
DRESS CODE
The golf club operates a strict dress code both on the golf course and in the clubhouse. A summary of the dress code is as follows:
GOLF COURSE
All players are expected to wear attire that is considered “smart casual” on the course. Clothing that meets the requirements of R&A, PGA, EWLG and LPGA will be accepted. Shorts may be worn if they are “tailored” and worn with “sports” socks. Items not accepted are:
BLUE DENIM CLOTHING, SLEEVELESS SHIRTS, FOOTBALL/RUGBY SHIRTS/SHORTS, BEACHWEAR, TRACK/SHELL SUITS AND HEADWEAR WORN IN A “REVERSE” FASHION.
TROUSERS ARE NOT TO BE TUCKED INTO YOUR SOCKS
Bona-fide golf shoes, either spikes or cleats, are required to be worn on the golf course.
CLUBHOUSE
All members, guests and visitors are expected to wear attire that is considered “smart casual”. Items not accepted are:
SAME AS FOR THE GOLF COURSE (SEE ABOVE), PLUS GOLF SHOES, TRAINER / PLIMSOLL TYPE FOOTWEAR AND HATS.
If you have any doubts regarding your dress, please ask the manager, professional or any other member of staff.
The golf club reserve the right to ask anyone who they feel is incorrectly attired or being problematic, to leave the premises.
MOBILE TELEPHONES
Mobile telephones are not to be used on the golf course or in the clubhouse without the express permission of the management committee.
